PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method of a component in which the profile of the component is clarified.

SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises: a step (S101) of picking up the color image of an electronic component by means of a scanner 170 and forming the color image thereof, and steps (S102, S104) of transforming the color image formed at the color image forming step (S101) into a component monochrome image where the outline of the electronic component is represented by gray on a white or block background, and an electrode monochrome image where the electrode of the electronic component is represented by gray.
