PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a disk from being scratched or deformed even if the disk is caught between a front panel of a case and a disk tray. SOLUTION: Assuming the case that the disk 2 is caught between the disk tray 1 and the front panel 12a, and in order to prevent the disk from being deformed and scratched, the disk tray apparatus is provided with a tray side protection part 14a for protecting the disk, and a front panel side protection part 14b. Each of these protection parts 14a, 14b is formed of a material softer (a hardness value is lower) than that forming the disk 2. Thus, even when the disk collides with the respective protection parts 14a, 14b, the respective protection parts 14a, 14b are deformed, so as not to cause deformation and damage on the disk 2.
