An electrical parking brake for a vehicle without a shifting gear is provided to reduce noise and to reduce size and weight by converting torque of a motor into linear motion of a screw rod. An electrical parking brake for a vehicle without a shifting gear comprises a step motor(1) a screw rod(5), a tension cable(7), and an equalizer(8). The step motor is rotated forwardly reversely by power in accordance with operational locations of a operation button, and gives brake force or release force to the parting brake. The screw rod linearly moves along rotation direction of the motor, and has a tension sensor(10) at an end for detecting tensile force. The tension cable is assembled to one end of the screw rod via a nut(6), and being pulled or loosened according to moving direction of the screw rod. The equalizer is fixed to an end of the tension cable, and offers uniform distribution force to a parking cable(9) extended to a braking unit. |
