MARKER DETECTING SYSTEM AND MARKER DETECTING METHOD USING THEREOF

A marker detecting system and a marker detecting method using the same are provided to perform a correct position stopping operation of a vehicle by accurately acquiring an actual current position of a vehicle. A marker detecting system includes a marker detecting antenna(2), a marker position detecting device(3), a distance/velocity detecting sensor(5), and a in-vehicle signaling device(4). Markers(1) are installed around a rail in the vicinity of a stop station. The marker detecting antenna is installed in a vehicle. The marker detecting antenna receives a radio data signal composed of a plurality of frames, which is emitted by a predetermined marker. The marker position detecting device calculates an average value of a first frame and a final frame among the frames and outputs the average value to the in-vehicle signaling device. The distance-velocity detecting sensor outputs a distance and a velocity of a moving vehicle to the in-vehicle signaling device by detecting the distance and velocity of the moving vehicle. The in-vehicle signaling device receives the average value of the received frames from the marker position detecting device and receives the distance and velocity from the distance/velocity detecting sensor.
