摘要 An LCD device is provided to increase a viewing angle and prevent an afterimage or a flicker, thereby improving the performance of display. A first signal line is formed on an insulating substrate. A second signal line is insulated from the first signal line and crosses the first signal line. A first pixel electrode(190a) is formed in each pixel area defined by crossing the first signal line and the second signal line. A second pixel electrode(190b) is formed in the each pixel area and is joined to the first pixel electrode capacitively. The 3 terminals of a first TFT(Thin Film Transistor) are respectively connected to each of the first signal line, the second signal line, and the first pixel electrode. A second TFT is insulated from the first signal line, the second pixel electrode, and the second signal line and crosses the first signal line, the second pixel electrode, and the second signal line. The 3 terminals of the second TFT are connected to a third signal line to which a hold voltage is applied. A second insulating substrate is opposite to the first insulating substrate. A common electrode is formed on the second insulating substrate. A common voltage is applied to the common electrode. The common electrode is electrically separated from the third signal line. The first TFT and the second TFT are respectively connected to different first signal lines neighboring each other.
