PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device enabling the suitable suppression of a clearance in the axial direction of rollers, a reduction in operating resistance, and a reduction in the wear of the rollers in the transfer device using a roller device. SOLUTION: A groove part 40 is formed in the guide surface 2a of a support rail 2 along a guide direction for guiding a mobile body 4, and a projected peripheral part 42 having a height lower than the depth of the groove part 40 fitted into the groove part 40 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rollers 6b and 7b. The groove part 40 and the projected peripheral part 42 are so formed that an angleθ1 formed by the guide surface 2a and the inner peripheral surface 40c of the groove part 40 is smaller than an angleθ2 formed by the guide surface 2a and the outer surface 42c of the projected peripheral part 42 at both edge parts where the groove part 40 comes into contact with the projected peripheral part 42 so that both edge parts 40a and 40b of the groove part 40 come into contact with both edge parts 42a and 42b of the projected peripheral part 42 and that the outer surface 42c of the projected peripheral part 42 does not come into contact with the inner surface 40c of the groove part 40.
