PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type expander constituted to introduce working fluid into a fluid chamber in an expansion stroke and increase power to be recovered from working fluid. SOLUTION: In an expander part as the scroll type expander, an expansion mechanism is constituted by a fixed scroll 60 and a movable scroll 65. High pressure refrigerant is introduced into the fluid chamber 37 in a flow-in stroke through an in-flow port 46. Introduced refrigerant is expanded inside the closed fluid chamber 37, namely, A chamber 70 and B chamber 75. Refrigerant is introduced into the A chamber 70 and B chamber 75 in the expansion stroke through injection ports 71, 76. Introduction of refrigerant into the A chamber 70 and B chamber 75 from the injection ports 71, 76 is stopped before the expansion stroke ends. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
