摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce combustion noise in a fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine executing pilot fuel injection before main fuel injection. SOLUTION: A first peak value and a second peak value of cylinder pressure change quantity calculated based on cylinder pressure, first timing generating the first peak value and second timing generating the second peak value are compared with each target value predetermined for each engine operation condition to sufficiently reduce combustion noise (steps 104, 106, 108, 110). If at least one of deviations to target values is larger than respective predetermined value, at least one of fuel injection timing of pilot fuel injection or main fuel injection (steps 107, 109), fuel injection pressure of pilot fuel injection or main fuel injection (step 111), and fuel injection quantity of pilot fuel injection (step 105) without changing total of fuel injection quantity of pilot fuel injection and main fuel injection.
