PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition forming a water-resistant siliceous coated film. SOLUTION: The coating composition is characterized as using a binder and a radioactive substance in combination in order to make the film formed by the binder of an alkali silicate water-resistant. Furthermore, an inorganic filler, an inorganic extender pigment, an inorganic color pigment, an additive and water, etc., are added and used in combination.
