PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent article comprising a detergent composition placed in a container, wherein the composition suppresses the smell from food during washing in an automatic dishwasher and the smell of perfume in the composition does not remain on the tableware after washing, and wherein the container exhibits transparent or translucent appearance that is aesthetically good and deterioration of the smell of perfume during storage is also suppressed. SOLUTION: The detergent article comprises a detergent composition filled in a container. The detergent composition is in the form of powder or granules and comprises 0.05-1.0 mass% of a perfume composition containing a perfume material having a vapor pressure of 0.8 Pa or more at 20°C in an amount of 60 mass% or more. The container is a transparent or translucent flexible thin container composed of a laminate comprising a resin layer on which a vapor-deposited thin film of an inorganic metal oxide is formed.
