PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense properly the angle of the specular surface of a mirror by converting the rotating motions of the specular surface into linear motions through a slide block. SOLUTION: The mirror 18 equipped with possibility of changing the direction of its specular surface is equipped with an actuator 16 to change the direction of the specular surface, a plate pivot 10 with the direction changing together with the specular surface so as to be directed identical to the specular surface, a slide block 20 energized toward the plate pivot 10 and to move in the direction approximately perpendicularly to the the specular surface in compliance with the rotating amount in case the plate pivot 10 rotates, and a rotating amount sensing part to sense the rotating amount of the specular surface in compliance with the moving amount of the slide block 20, wherein the plate pivot 10 has a slide block mounting part to hold the forefront of the slide block 20 so that the forefront of the slide block 20 does not slide on the plate pivot 10 in association with rotation of the plate pivot 10.
