PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always provide good response, allow a driver to accurately recognize a tire state of a vehicle, and enable stable traveling even when a braking or driving state of the vehicle or loading weight is changed. SOLUTION: A maximum frictional force calculating part 1a calculates the maximum frictional force of each wheel based on each vertical force from force detecting sensors 11fl, 11fr, 11rl, 11rr, and a road surfaceμestimating value from a road surfaceμestimating device 12. A gripping force calculating part 1b calculates gripping force of each wheel based on each vertical and lateral force from the force detecting sensors 11fl, 11fr, 11rl, 11rr to display the maximum frictional force and gripping force of each wheel on an indicator 15. A gripping force warning determination part 1c performs warning determination based on a set sensitivity signal, and the maximum frictional force and gripping force of each wheel to output the warning determination to an alarm 16 and an electric power steering device 17 in warning. A ground warning determination part 1d performs warning determination based on each vertical force from the force detecting sensors 11fl, 11fr, 11rl, 11rr to output the warning determination to the alarm 16 in the warning.
