<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an electric circuit component and a housing with ease while securing waterproofing property. <P>SOLUTION: The electric circuit component comprises a case 5 containing an electric circuit inside itself and an opening 5a, a cap 1 covering the opening of the case, and a packing 4 put between the case and the cap. The packing has a structure in which an elastic seal material 11 and a strength member 10 are combined, and a slope 6 sloping inward is provided at least at a part of the periphery of the opening of the case. Since a gap between the case and the cap is liquid-tightly sealed with the elastic seal material 11 of the packing, the water-proof structure is obtained. When the packing is put in the opening of the case, the packing gets in along the slope and is arranged at a specified position, so that the packing does not deviate nor get jammed when the cap is fixed to the case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
