<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage method capable of reinforcing data storage against an accident and the like and of equipping the data with sufficient security against code-breaking by a third person. <P>SOLUTION: In this data storage method dividing data and storing them in a plurality of storages, when block encryption based on a first encoding key is applied to plaintext data, encryption into a plurality of encryption blocks by an encryption block unit is carried out, and a plurality of encryption blocks are respectively divided into a plurality of divided encryption blocks.
