PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aberrance degree detector for detecting the aberrance state of a vehicle on time. SOLUTION: An operation characteristics calculation means 3 calculates a mean value, maximum value, and occurrence time of a jerk (J) when the vehicle is in left and right turn operation state, as operation characteristics, and an aberrance degree judging means 6 judges the aberrance degree of the vehicle from the operation characteristics calculated with the operation characteristics calculation means 3. In this manner, before detecting characteristic operation of the driver such as times of passing the same point and the near-by region, unnecessary times of operation of flasher, times of unnecessary lane change, etc. which appears in aberrance state, the aberrance state of the vehicle can be detected and so the aberrance state of the vehicle can be detected on time.
