<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile router which selects a communication route which should be applied to a packet transfer according to the communication mode of each mobile terminal, and also to provide a mobile communication system. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile router for connecting a movable local network in which a mobile terminal is contained to the subnet of a communication network includes: a communication attribute table showing route selecting information corresponding to the flow conditions displayed with a combination of header information; and a packet transfer processor for processing the receiving packet according to a selected result, by selecting whether the optimum route between the communication partner devices is used as a receiving packet transfer route or a mobile tunnel set between the mobile router and the home agent connected to the communication network is used, according to the route selecting information corresponding to the flow conditions of the receiving packet showing the communication attribute table when the packet is received from the local network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
