<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect traffic information for each communication line, through which a previously designated packet flow passes, in a communication network traffic monitoring system. <P>SOLUTION: Gateways 11, 12, 13 are arranged for all communication lines L1, L2, L3, and communication paths are provided between the gateways and a traffic monitoring apparatus 1. The gateways 11, 12, 13 are set so that packet flows designated by a packet identifier are converted into a protocol format used for communication on communication paths, to change a transfer route, thereby enabling the traffic monitoring apparatus 1 to receive all traffics to be monitored that flow through a plurality of communication lines from the communication paths. The path identifier of a received packet, frame or cell is extracted, thereby specifying through which communication line a traffic to be monitored flows. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
