PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying type garbage disposer capable of stably drying garbage in a short time without being affected by seasons, and effectively suppressing occurrence of malodor without providing any special malodor countermeasure. SOLUTION: This garbage disposer is provided with an air venting port 3 and an air intake port 4 in a garbage drying chamber 2. The air venting port 3 is made to communicate with the air intake port 4 through a duct 5 outside the garbage drying chamber 2, all the air in the garbage drying chamber 2 is returned to the garbage drying chamber 2 through the duct 5 by a fan 6.
