PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray type distillation apparatus excellent in energy saving. SOLUTION: The method consists of using a distillation tower composed of a fixed porous plate or a fixed filling, and a movable filling or a movable porous plate movable by an external force, wherein a tray or filling is arranged, and distilling the raw materials containing multicomponents. The distillation method comprises (1) the step of operating the movable porous plate and the movable filling to pool intermediates during distillation, and (2) the step of extracting the intermediates as a liquid.
