PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double heating device and a heating method. SOLUTION: A two channel fluid temperature control system controls cardiac fluid temperature by using electric power from a simple and easy electric power receptacle having electric power restrictions during operation. A first pump receives a first heat exchange fluid, and sends the first heat exchange fluid into a first circulation channel selectively. A second pump receives a second heat exchange fluid, and sends the second heat exchange fluid into a second circulation channel selectively. A first air heater unit includes a plurality of first heater elements each having power consumption and which can be operated separately. A second air heater unit includes a plurality of second heater elements each having power consumption and which can be operated separately. A control unit operates the first and the second pumps, and the plurality of the first and the second heater elements selectively to heat or cool the first and the second heat exchange fluid selectively, so that electric power consumption of all actuating pumps and heater elements is maintained at a restricted electric power or lower.
