PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a dish washer/dryer perform work according to an optimum washing course without imposing work for selecting a washing course on a user. SOLUTION: A washing course determining device is provided with: a cooking method determination and processing part 114 to determine a cooking method for a food material charged to cooking utensils on the basis of smell data sent from a smell sensor 103 to detect smells of the food material charged to the cooking utensils and temperature data sent from a temperature sensor 101 to detect temperature of the cooking utensils; an elapsed time measurement processing part 115 to determine the cooking completion time on the basis of weight data sent from a weight sensor 102 to detect weight of the cooking utensils laid on a heater and to measure time elapsed from the determined cooking completion time to time to start washing by the dish washer/dryer; a soil degree determination processing part 116 to determine the soil degree of a dish on the basis of the measured time elapsed after cooking and the determined cooking method; and a washing course constituting element determination processing part 119 to determine the value of each washing constituting element on the basis of the determined soil degree.
