A communication method in a wireless network and a wireless network system for the same are provided to transmit and receive various information or data related to a direct link in a wireless network. The first QSTA(Station with QoS(Quality of Service) facility) transmits a data frame containing a DLS(Direct Link Setup) request to a connected AP(Access Point). Receiving the data frame, the AP delivers the data frame to the second QSTA. The second QSTA receives the data frame. In response to the data frame, the second QSTA transmits a data frame containing a DLS response to the AP. Receiving the data frame from the second QSTA, the AP transmits it to the first QSTA. As the first QSTA receives the data frame containing the DLS response, a direct link is established between the first QSTA and the second QSTA so that the first QSTA can directly exchange data with the second QSTA.
