In a transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) comprising a covering layer, an adhesive matrix (AM) containing fentanyl (A) as active agent and a removable protecting layer, AM is of acrylate copolymer (I) containing hydroxyethyl acrylate and vinyl acetate units and is free of penetration accelerators and crosslinkers. - ACTIVITY : Analgesic. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
