Aluminosilicate glass composition contains (in weight %) 35 to 50 SiO2, 1-10 Al2O3, 5-15 Na2O + K2O + Cs2O + Li2O, 1 Cs2O, 1 Li2O, 20-30 BaO, 0-15 ZnO, 0-10 La2O3, 0-10 ZrO2 1 TiO2, 0-6 TiO2, 0-8 P2O5, 0-8 MgO + CaO + SrO, and 0-3 other oxides. An Independent claim is also included for an optical window made from the aluminosilicate glass. |
