<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a high-grade image visibly recognizable in a normal visual recognition position even if a plurality of image display regions displaying a first image and a second image with respect to a full screen display region are moved. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has a display panel 1 having the full screen display region provided with first pixels and second pixels and forming a three-dimensional display region for displaying an image for the left eye and an image for the right eye in the full screen display region; a parallax barrier panel 2 for separating the image for the left eye and the image for the right eye in such a manner that the image for the left eye displayed by the first pixels of the full screen display region is visually recognized in the first visual recognition region and on the other hand, the image for the right eye displayed by the second pixels of the full screen display region is visually recognized in the second visual recognition region; a display position visual recognition section 61 for detecting the position of the three-dimensional display region in the full screen display region; and a barrier position control circuit 62 for correcting the visual recognition position of the image for the left eye to the first visual recognition region and correcting the visual recognition position of the image for the right eye to the second visual recognition region based on the three-dimensional display region detected by the display position visual recognition section 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
