<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device equipped with an acceleration sensor, and capable of detecting precisely an acceleration along a reference axis direction even when an attaching position and an attaching angle thereof are selected freely, and to provide further an inclination angle detecting method for the acceleration sensor for detecting an inclination angle of a sensing axis in the acceleration sensor with respect to a reference axis. <P>SOLUTION: This on-vehicle device comprises the first acceleration sensor 11q, the second acceleration sensor 11p having the sensing axis p orthogonal to the sensing axis q, an inclination angle detecting part 13 for computing the inclination angle θ of the sensing axis q with respect to the reference axis Y, based on values of the accelerations detected by the respective acceleration sensors 11p, 11q when an inspecting acceleration acts along the reference axis Y direction, and a control part 12 for calculating at least one out of the value of the acceleration acting along the reference axis Y direction, and the value of the acceleration acting along the reference axis X direction, based on the values of the accelerations detected by the respective acceleration sensors 11p, 11q, and the inclination angle θ. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
