<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference clock generator in which the output of a reference clock is not interrupted even if a fault occurs in the reference clock. <P>SOLUTION: Between outputs of two reference clock reproducing circuits 1a and 1b inputted to an adder 3, an amplitude of the output of the reference clock reproducing circuit 1b is adjusted through a level adjusting unit 2, and a clock of a different amplitude is added in an analog manner to prevent an added output from becoming zero even if the output of the reference clock reproducing circuit 1a, 1b that becomes an inverse phase, is inputted. The added output is passed through a waveform shaper 4 to generate and output a reference clock, thereby providing the reference clock generator in which the output of the reference clock is not interrupted even if a fault occurs in one inputted reference clock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
