PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of compatibly establishing leveling of the noise peak and preclusion of an eccentric wear. SOLUTION: The tire width direction stiffness of a bottom-up part 12 where C"-blocks 4 having relatively a small pitch length are coupled together, is made larger than the stiffness of a bottom-up part 10 where A"-blocks 4 having relatively a large pitch length are coupled together. This allows enlargement relatively of the stiffness of a bottom-up part 5 where C"-blocks 4 are coupled together. The stiffness of a bottom-up part 11 in the place where the A"-blocks 4 having relatively large pitch length and B"-blocks 4 having relatively small pitch length are adjoining should have a value corresponding to the B"-blocks having relatively small pitch length. The stiffness corresponding to blocks signifies a stiffness adopted when the same sort of blocks 4 are coupled together. If as less as one row of blocks having the described features exist, the stiffness is leveled in this area, and an eccentric wear such as heel-and-toe wear can be avoided.
