PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of omission or reduction of operation of air capacity setting when rapidly carrying out humidification. SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 with a humidifying function is provided with a blower 20, an air cleaning part 2, a humidifying part 3, an air cleaning air capacity setting part 51, a rapid humidification switch 55, and control parts 56 and 58. The air cleaning part 2 carries out air cleaning by using a flow of air produced by the blower 20. The humidifying part 30 humidifies air sent by the blower 20. The air cleaning air capacity setting part 51 sets an air capacity of the blower 20 in air cleaning. The rapid humidification switch 55 is for carrying out rapid humidification operation which is an operation for rapidly carrying out humidification. When the rapid humidification switch 55 is turned on, the control parts 56 and 58 set the air capacity of the blower to an air capacity suiting the rapid humidification operation irrespective of the air capacity set by the air cleaning air capacity setting part 51.
