PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion material which can be improved in an essential thermoelectric conversion performance by reducing its electric resistance in an arbitrary temperature zone without setting a direction of temperature gradient, a direction of applying a magnetic field, and a direction of arranging electrodes, or a direction of pn junction to complicated ones; and also to provide a thermoelectric conversion device using the same. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion material has a prescribed value or above for an absolute value (¾Δρ/ΔT¾) of the ratio of a change in temperature T to a change in electric resistanceρin a prescribed temperature zone.
