<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture correcting supporter which corrects a posture, alleviates stiff shoulders, shoulder pain, and reduces a load on a shoulder part by suspending an arm by a suspender belt. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of shoulder retaining parts 10a, 10b cover the right and left regions from the shoulder to an upper arm of a wearer's body. The suspender belt 20 made of a strip-shaped body of a prescribed length is formed into an annular body by making one end and the other end of the suspender belt intersect on the right and left back sides of the shoulder retaining parts 10a, 10b, is suspended from the right and left shoulder parts, and enables the wearer to insert his/her arm in a U-shaped ring on the chest side. Consequently, the load on the shoulder due to the weight of the arm is reduced by suspending the arm by the suspender belt 20, and postures such as hunchbacked and slouched body are corrected by expanding the chest part since the intersecting suspender belt 20 acts in the direction to pull the pair of shoulder retaining parts 10a, 10b by the force pulling the suspender belt 20 downward by the weight of the arm.
