<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a primary coil on an outer peripheral side with which epoxy resin is filled restrains deformation of a secondary coil on an inner peripheral side and that a crack occurs in a secondary spool at the time of a cold cycle and the problem that an air layer occurs between a primary spool and primary wiring unless the primary coil is filled with epoxy resin and that corona discharge possibly occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A stick type ignition coil is provided with a center core 10, a secondary coil 15 on the outer peripheral side of the core and a primary coil 20 on the outer peripheral side of the coil. The primary coil includes the primary spool 21 having insulation and a cylindrical shape, an insulating soft material 35 installed on a base 22d of a circular hollow 22c formed on an outer peripheral face and primary winding 24 wound onto the material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
