<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape winding device capable of automatically detecting loosening in winding of a magnetic tape and accurately and quickly detecting loosening in winding that can not be recognized with eyes as well in particular. <P>SOLUTION: In this magnetic tape winding device to a one reel cartridge provided with a winding gear, a winding motor with an encoder for rotating the winding gear, a control means for controlling the driving of the motor and an encoder output operating means for operating an output of the encoder, the encoder output operating means controls the winding motor for adding a more load to a reel of the one reel cartridge after the end of step winding in a rotational direction with prescribed torque, and the encoder output operating means calculates a difference in a reel position between the unloaded reel and the loaded reel, compares the difference with a prescribed amount corresponding to loosening in winding and determines loosening in winding when a comparison result is equal to or greater than the prescribed amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
