PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ip phone system, an ip phone, and a destination user identification method whereby a destination user can be identified before taking a telephone call. SOLUTION: In the IP phone system provided with: IP phones 101, 102 connected to the IP network 106; a Web server 105 for registering arrived image information corresponding to a telephone number assigned to the IP phones 101, 102; and an ENUM server 103 for registering a NAPTR record wherein link information to the arrived image information registered to the Web server 105 is designated as a URI, the IP phone 102 receiving a incoming call inquires of the ENUM server 103 about the NAPTR record in response to the telephone number of the called party, requests the Web server 105 to transmit the arrived image information corresponding to the telephone number of the called party in response to the returned NAPTR record, and displays the arrived image in response to the returned arrived image information.
