PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception recording and reproducing device, etc., for reproducing a program corresponding to the taste of a user. SOLUTION: A broadcasting information providing device 43 analyzes received broadcasting programs, classifies them, and generates a time table concerning the programs. The device 43 provides the generated time table to the reception recording and reproducing device 24 of the viewer of the program via a communication network such as the Internet. The reception recording and reproducing device 24 performs the editing of the program which coincides with the mode of the reproduction desired by the viewer with referring to the time table and performs a reproduction processing. Not only the reproduction but the erasing of a broadcast content, which is not required by the viewer, and dubbing to record the program in another recording medium are performed with referring to the time table. Not only the time table but a program is provided to allow the reception recording and reproducing device 24 to perform a prescribed processing such as reproducing, erasing, and dubbing.
