PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for representing the sound insulating performance of a partition wall, which enables general people to easily understand the sound insulating performance of the partition wall even in a not-quite environment. SOLUTION: A first room 8 and a second room 9 are partitioned from each other by a general partition wall 4, and the first room 8 and a third room 10 are partitioned from each other by a cross partition wall 5 having a sound insulating performance different from that of the general partition wall 4, and a bell 12 as a sound source is hung in the first room 8, and water 1 and 11 is stored in the second room 9 and in the third room 10 so as to show water surfaces 11a and 11a, and vibrations of sound emitted from the bell 12 in the first room 8 are transmitted to the water 11 in the second room 9 through the general partition wall 4 and is transmitted to the water 11 in the third room 10 through the cross partition wall 5.
