PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spare tire holding structure of a rear part of a vehicle capable of allowing a spare tire to be directly moved according to an impact in a rear-end collision, setting the movement to be large, and increasing the impact absorption in the rear-end collision even when the spare tire is held on a side wall of the rear part of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: In the spare tire holding structure 32, a side frame 34 is interposed between an inner panel 26 and an outer panel, a bracket 35 extends downwardly (in the direction of an arrow a1) in a cantilever style from the side frame 34, a rod 37 is fixed to a tip part 36 of the bracket 35, the rod 37 is protruded from the inner panel 26 through the inner panel 26, and a spare tire is held at a front portion 38 of the protruded rod 37. When the forwardly-directed load (in the direction of an arrow a2) is applied to the spare tire in a rear-end collision, the bracket 35 is plastically deformed while swinging (in the direction of an arrow a3), and the rod breaks the inner panel to damp the collision energy.
