PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact vehicular bumper structure capable of sufficiently reducing the degree of an injury to a leg portion of a pedestrian. SOLUTION: The bumper 10 structure is composed of a bumper beam 11 extending in a vehicular width direction, a bumper face 12 covering a front surface 15 of the bumper beam 11, and an energy absorbing material 13 interposed between those. The bumper beam 11 has a flat vertical surface 26 at least on the front surface 15. The energy absorbing material 13 is made from foam material 14, and an L-shaped cross section member 27 composed of a main body portion 21 extended from the vertical surface 26 to the bumper face 12 and a head portion 23 extended from an upper surface 22 to an upper side.
