PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a pillar trim free of the risk that a gap is generated between the bottom of a molded ceiling and the top of the pillar trim. SOLUTION: As the top 9 of the pillar trim 8 is attached directly to a mounting seat part 5 formed from the bottom 3 of the molded ceiling 2, no gap will be generated between the bottom 3 of a molded ceiling 2 and the top 9 of the pillar trim 8. The distance from the engaging point of a projection 11 on a pillar 1 with an engaging hole 6 in the mounting seat part 5 to the termination of the top part 9 is short, and gap generation is unlikely even through a change with time. Because an extension part 7 abutting to the pillar 1 is formed from the bottom of the mounting seat part 5, the seat part 5 has a high rigidity, ensuring the mounting workmanship of the projection 11 in the engaging hole 6. The extension part 7 does not make deformation downward at the time of engaging the projection 11 with the hole 6 owing to formation of a projection 12 abutting from below to the extension part 7, and the engagement of the projection with the hole 6 can be performed still more certainly.
