<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable air refrigerant type cooler with an efficient internal air cooling mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The air refrigerant type cooler including a compressor, a motor and an expansion turbine comprises a heat radiation means provided within the motor. A pressure difference is forcedly generated between the inside and outside of the motor. According to this, at the time of driving the motor, the heat generated from a main body of a stator and the heat generated from a coil end part thereof are forcedly discharged out of the motor by the heat radiating means and by the cooling air discharge out of the motor, respectively. Further, a guide plate is arranged in the vicinity of a cooling air inlet in the motor so that the cooling air taken into the motor efficiently collides with the coil end part of the stator.
