PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video analysis device automatically detecting a part including many motions desired to be emphasized from video, and also to provide a content preparing device using the video analysis device. SOLUTION: This video analysis device calculates amounts of characteristics which characterize motions of images of frames for video composed of a plurality of continuous frames, associates the amounts of the characteristics with each frame to be stored, and outputs a section including many motions detected on the basis of a difference of the amounts of the characteristic per frame stored and adjoined. Also, a content preparing device makes noticeable the video including many motions detected from the video analysis device, and prepares content composed of the video and description images for the video.
