PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive array antenna assembly capable of quickly following up the fading variation. SOLUTION: The adaptive array antenna assembly has a plurality of antennas, a plurality of weight multipliers, a signal combiner, an error signal deriver, and a weight calculator. The weight calculator has an error signal evaluator for deciding the convergent condition to received error signals, a first weight updater for updating the weight by a least mean squares (LMS) algorithm according to a control instruction from the error signal evaluator, and a second weight updater for updating the weight by extracting a suitable weight from a database.
