PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material for a light room having good safelight safety. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has on a support at least two layers including at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one other hydrophilic colloidal layer, wherein at least one layer contains at least one specific compound and a specific fluorine compound and the photosensitive silver halide emulsion contains silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of≥90 mol% and contains at least one selected from rhodium compounds, ruthenium compounds, rhenium compounds and iridium compounds in an amount of≥1×10<SP>-6</SP>mol per mol of silver.
