PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall construction method and structure capable of sufficiently preventing a building decorative member such as a tile from slipping down before an adhesive is hardened. SOLUTION: A metal plate 11 on the front face side of a metal siding 10 is formed of a flat part 1 and a large number of recessed holes 2 recessed from the flat part 1. There is no projecting part projecting from the flat part 1. The recessed holes 2 are formed of recessed holes 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D of cocoon shape or bean shape and almost circular recessed holes 2E. The noncircular recessed holes 2A-2D are nonuniform in the longitudinal direction (a) and not oriented in one direction. In this embodiment, the longitudinal direction of the noncircular recessed holes 2A-2E is random. After fixing the metal siding 10 to a building skeleton by an anchor bolt, machine screws, or the like, an elastic adhesive 14 is applied to the front face of the metal plate 11 to stick the tile 15 made of pottery.
