PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch basin and a side ditch passage, for simply and easily positioning in connecting work at a construction site of the catch basin and a variable side ditch being a concrete secondary product, without particularly requiring work time for forming (cast-in-place) the catch basin, without making the finish of the catch basin and the side ditch passage different by skill of a manufacturer, when forming the side ditch passage. SOLUTION: This catch basin has a catch basin body manufactured in advance, a grating installed in an upper wall through-hole and a basin bottom block laid on the bottom part side of the catch basin body; and is characterized in that the basin bottom block has a bottom plate, a pair of rising walls, a recessed cutout part arranged in a central position in the top surface width direction of the rising walls and an invert concrete placing table.
