PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine whose cover can be smoothly opened/closed without the use of a strong force, and which enables even a person with particularly weak physical strength to smoothly open/close the cover. SOLUTION: This game machine comprises: a game machine body 12 with an operation panel; the cover 14 which is provided on the top surface of the game machine body 12 so as to cover the game machine body 12; a stay 30 for supporting the cover 14; and a main body-side mechanism part 28 which is provided on the side of the game machine body 12.
