PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower unit structured so that the mounting position of a filter is dislocated upward with respect to an opening formed for insertion of the filter. SOLUTION: The blower unit is equipped with a supporting part 12b formed ahead in the inserting direction of the filter 8 for supporting it in the mounting position A, a tapered surface 12a formed nearer an opening 9 for insertion of the filter than the supporting part 12b and inclining to approach the mounting position as going ahead in the inserting direction of the filter 8, a lid 6 protruding toward the inside of blower cases 2 and 3, and a lid side supporting part 13b abutting to the under-part 8b of the tail in the inserting direction of the filter 6 within the blower cases 2 and 3 and supporting the tail in the mounting position A of the filter 8.
