PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the ends of a skin and a foam layer to the back surface of a core material without using adhesive. SOLUTION: The foam layer 3 and the skin 4 are provided one over the other on the surface 2e of the core material 2. The tops 3a and 4a of the foam layer 3 and the skin 4 are folded back downward at the top of the core material 2. A projection 2c is formed on the top face 2a constituting part of the back face 2b of the core material 2 and is inserted into an inserting hole 3c and a through hole 4c formed in the top parts 3a and 4a, respectively, of the foam layer 3 and the skin 4. At the tip of the projection 2c, a disc part 2f is formed by heating the tip, melting, and crushing. By this disc part 2f the skin 4 is pushed toward the core material 2 so as to press the foam layer 3 to the core material 2.
