PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide feeding rolls to cope with the problem as following: Branches and leaves pruned from street trees mixedly include in many cases those of large and small branch diameters, and when those having this branch diameter difference which is large are held between the feeding rolls, the feeding rolls are widely opened by the branches and leaves of a large diameter, and the holding force and the feeding force for the branches and leaves of a small diameter become week, causing irregular cut lengths. SOLUTION: The feeding rolls are constituted as follows. While a high tooth ridge 4 is formed by a high tooth 2 and a deep tooth bottom 3 which run along an axial direction on the circumferential surface of the one feeding roll 1 of the two feeding rolls rotating so as to be confronted to each other, a low tooth ridge 8 is formed by a low tooth 6 and a shallow tooth bottom 7 on the circumferential surface of the other feeding roll 5, and these high tooth ridge 4 and low tooth ridge 8 are configured so as to mesh with the groove lines 9, 10 formed between respective tooth ridges and be rotatively installed and further, the rotating slanted surface 11 of the high tooth 2 and the rotating slanted surface 12 of the shallow tooth bottom 3 are formed closely to each other.
