<p>A cost effective, transportable flood control barrier has an inflatable flexible body (3) secured to the inside faces of two outer vertical rigid panels (1). The bottom ends of the panels are provided with support flanges (7, 8) facing outwards flat on the ground. Hinged rigid panels (5) are fitted on the inside bottom ends of the vertical panels and are pressed onto the ground by the expanding inflatable body. The body is inflated via a fixed valve. The outer ground support flanges are secured to the ground, e.g. with spikes.</p> |
